Rodrigues at ITB Berlin 2026 

From 3 to 5 March 2026, Rodrigues participated in ITB Berlin, one of the world’s leading travel trade fairs. The event provided an opportunity to promote the island’s unique identity, natural beauty, and sustainable tourism approach to international travel professionals.

During the exhibition, the Rodrigues delegation met with tour operators, media, and partners to strengthen collaborations and highlight the destination as an authentic and preserved island experience in the Indian Ocean. 🏝️

Inauguration of the Caverne Patate Visitor’s Centre
On Friday, 13 March 2026, the Commission for Tourism and Discovery Rodrigues officially inaugurated the Caverne Patate Visitor’s Centre, a new space dedicated to welcoming visitors and enhancing the discovery of one of the most emblematic natural sites of Rodrigues.

The ceremony was held in the presence of His Excellency, Mr. Jean Yvan Robert Hungley, G.O.S.K., Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius, and Mr. Franceau Aubret Grandcourt, G.O.S.K., Chief Commissioner.

Inauguration of the Caverne Patate Visitor’s Centre

On Friday, 13 March 2026, the Commission for Tourism and Discovery Rodrigues officially inaugurated the Caverne Patate Visitor’s Centre, a new space dedicated to welcoming visitors and enhancing the discovery of one of the most emblematic natural sites of Rodrigues.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Jean Yvan Robert Hungley, G.O.S.K., Vice-President of the Republic of Mauritius, and Franceau Aubret Grandcourt, G.O.S.K., Chief Commissioner.

Rodrigues invites you to celebrate one of its most cherished cultural traditions during the 26th edition of the Rodrigues Kreol Festival, a full week dedicated to the island’s Creole identity, creativity, and vibrant spirit.
For eight days, the island will come alive with music, séga tambour, traditional dance, local crafts, authentic gastronomy, and cultural exchanges. This flagship event showcases the talent of Rodrigues’ artisans, the richness of its culinary heritage, and the unique energy of its artists.

Trail de Rodrigues – The Trail of Rodrigues

The Trail de Rodrigues, also known as the Trail of Rodrigues, celebrates its 16th edition on 9th November 2025. This iconic event brings together runners and adventure seekers to explore the island’s breathtaking trails — from rugged mountains to scenic coastal paths.

More than a race, it’s a journey through the heart of Rodrigues, combining sport, nature, and the island’s warm community spirit.

The Rodrigues Tourism Office team, together with the Commissioner of Tourism, Mr. Jean Alain WONG SO, and our local tourism operators, proudly represented our island, meeting partners from around the world and showcasing the unique beauty of Rodrigues. 

It was also a great honor to share these special moments with Miss France 2025 and Miss Réunion 2025

Rodrigues at the “Salon Prêt à Partir 2025 " 

The Rodrigues Tourism Office team, together with local tourism operators, is in Mauritius to take part in this major travel event at the SVICC, Pailles, from 29 to 31 August 2025.
